“But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
1 John 1:7 HCSB ©

A believer will live a lifestyle of obedience to God, of doing what God commands, of holiness and purity. He will habitually “walk” in God’s light as Jesus Himself walked in a holy and righteous way. Walking in God’s light will lead to a growing intimate relationship with God. The only way a believer can walk in the light is because Jesus’ blood cleanses and purifies the believer from all sin.

Lord Jesus, it is not because of what I have done, but because of Your shed blood on Calvary’s cross that I can live in righteousness. Help me to walk worthy of the relationship I have with You.
