“‘But the word of the Lord endures forever.’ And this is the word that was preached as the gospel to you.”
   1 Peter 1:25 HCSB ©

While human life is brief, God’s Word endures forever. It remains even though many people have tried to destroy it. People and governments have banned and burned the Bible. These governments and people have died, but the Bible lives on. It endures because it is God’s Word, the gospel, the good news that brings salvation to a lost and dying humanity. The preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important task the believer has been given. We must proclaim the good news of salvation that is available only through personal faith and trust in Jesus Christ the Lord.

Lord Jesus, it is Your unchanging and unfailing Word that brings fulfilment to my life. Help me to study, learn, obey, and share the living and abiding Word of the Lord, the Bible.
