In your personal opinion, what do you understand it takes for a person to go to heaven?

Prodded to Pray

"And it came about that while He was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.""
   Luke 11:1 NASB ©

Jesus had a habit of praying. He often slipped away to a quiet place where He could be alone. He would pray early in the morning and late at night. He even prayed all night long before a very important decision. Jesus provided the example His disciples were to follow. They too should be people of prayer. One day a disciple asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Jesus responded by teaching them a pattern for prayer, persistence in prayer, and provision through prayer.

Lord Jesus, the example of Your prayer life has prodded me to spend more time in prayer. Teach me how to pray as I should, how to keep praying, and how to recognize the answers to my prayers.
