In your personal opinion, what do you understand it takes for a person to go to heaven?

Provision through Prayer

“Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he? . . . If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”
   Luke 11:11-13 NASB ©

A loving and caring father will not give his son things that will harm him. Instead, when the son asked, the father will give him the good gift of appropriate foods. God will likewise provide good gifts to those who ask through prayer. God provides our needs, both physical and spiritual. He provides our daily bread. He also provides our salvation and eternal life. Best of all He provides His presence in our lives through the Holy Spirit, who dwells in every believer.

Lord God, I am grateful for all that You provide. I am comforted and guided by Your presence.
