Jesus replied to the woman who had blessed His mother by saying that the greater blessing is upon those who hear and obey God’s Word. A person will be blessed when he studies the Bible and does what it says. It is important that a person fill his life with God’s Word. One must hear, read, study, memorize, and mediate daily on God’s Word. One must apply God’s Word in his life. He will be blessed when he obeys God.

Lord Jesus, help me to dig deep in Your Word and to do what it says. Teach me the Bible, and teach me how to live it each day.
