“My son, if sinners entice you, don’t be persuaded.”
Proverbs 1:10 HCSB ©

Solomon is giving counsel to his son on how to live and enjoy life. If sinners, people who do evil and live in sin, try to persuade you to join them in their wicked ways, do not be seduced by their words. To live a good life you must not listen to the voice of evil no matter who is speaking. Be very careful to whom you listen. Do not be drawn into the snare of doing what is wrong by yielding to temptation.

Lord Jesus, help me to be cautious about whom I am around and from whom I get advice. Help me to live righteously by running away from evil.
